Tooth problems are difficult to manage and are often painful. However, cavities are most problematic. They can make it difficult to eat or drink.
Cavities are small, unattended holes in the teeth caused by tooth decay. This can be caused by poor hygiene or accumulation of bacteria, plaque, or a deficiency in minerals.
